PACIFIC REGION 



Pacific region is composed by Choco, Valle del cauca, Cauca and Nariño departments in a population, that predominates afrocolombians,  characterized by they fishing activities.

  INSTRUMENTS 


The chonta marimba is a typical music, instrument hand crafted with Guadua consists of 23 wood  sheets and 23 Bamboo pipe which gives a characteristic sound typical of the region, 







with the coconut fiber and banana straws manufacture hats, hamper and handbags which are made by women and children.












DANCES 


Within dances they have traditional rhythms such as:

Contradanza
Jota
Polka
Black expressions
